One of our smallest releases to date, FOUR BY FOUR is a blend of barrels of 9-Year Old Straight Bourbon Whiskey from Dearborn County, Indiana finished in Barbadian Dark Rum Casks. Not only is it a small release, but the resulting barrel proof is one of the lowest Four Gate Whiskey Company has released at only 103.2.

TASTING NOTES FROM THE CHIEF BLENDING OFFICER

• Nose: Pepper, spice, vanilla, molasses, maple syrup, butter
• Taste: Citrus zest, oranges, light caramel, sweet simple syrup and dark rum
• Finish: Long, the rye spices fade out to be replaced by low, sweet dark rum notes

The KElvin cOLLABORATION IIII

The fourth iteration of our award-winning The Kelvin Collaboration series sees a blend of straight bourbon and straight rye whiskey finished in Australian Tawny Port and Barbadian Dark Rum casks. Like the previous three releases in the series, the dual-finish nature of this whiskey results in complex and layered flavors with a rich mouth feel and long finish. This is the first Four Gate Whiskey Release to be available in Illinois.
