Four Gate Whiskey Company Wins Three! FGWC Wins Two Double Platinum Medals and a Gold Medal at the 2024 ASCOT Awards LOUISVILLE, KY, May 21st, 2024 - Four Gate Whiskey Company is proud to announce the latest medals for its trophy case of awards-winning bourbon and rye whiskeys. The Kelvin Collaboration V was awarded the highest medal available, Double Platinum, in the category of Special Barrel-Finished Bourbon. The ASCOT judges noted “Dark cherries, chocolate and almonds on the nose; more off the same on the palate, plus caramel, molasses and spicy red pepper. Great flavors, nice structure…a fine bourbon.” Andalusia Key Rye was also awarded the Double Platinum medal in the Special Barrel-Finished Rye category. The Judging note reads “A rich, sweet, and incredibly well-balanced rye that is unique and right up my alley.” Both will go on to compete for the best-in-class competition on June 4 th on the Spirits Network. In addition, Kelvin Sixty was awarded a Gold medal in the Straight Bourbon Category. Judges said “Sherry and cherries galore! Here is a very interesting dram with a nice cocoa note on the finish.” The medals mark the 7 th , 8 th , and 9 th ASCOT Awards Four Gate Whiskey Company has earned in the competition since its inception in 2021. ASCOT Awards is an international spirits competition created by spirits personality and veteran tasting judge, Fred Minnick. The competition provides a unique opportunity for distillers to have their products recognized through Fred’s YouTube channel, social media, news articles, newsletters, and festivals.
