Eagle Thief

Eagle Thief honors Kevin McLaughlin, who ran Kelvin Cooperage with his brother Paul and was instrumental in the founding of Four Gate. Kevin died on December 27, 2019. He captained the golf team at Pepperdine and played off a +2 handicap.

Four barrels of 12-year Kentucky straight bourbon, 423 bottles. The label is in Pepperdine colors, the age statement reads 10 +2, and the proof, 122.7, is the date he died. The name joins a golf eagle and the whiskey thief used to draw from a barrel.

Released in November 2020, the batch raised $31,506 for his charity of choice, the West End School.
