Our first Kentucky straight whiskey. It spent seven years in used barrels, which is why it can't be called bourbon, then five months in a new #3 char barrel and two more in a new medium-toast barrel, both from Kelvin Cooperage.
The idea came from the late Kevin McLaughlin of Kelvin, years ago. Our Chief Barrel Officer kept it in mind until the right whiskey turned up. Kelvin's logo is on the label in his honor.
